In the kitchen, as with our wines, we only work with producers who grow and produce conscientiously.

The vegetables come from regional organic producers, the fish from "La Goonery" in the Eifel, the seafood from "AusterRegion" in the North Sea and so on.

KEVIN

Meet Chef Kevin, a culinary artist with a rich background in some of Germany's finest kitchens.

He honed a lot of skills at Ox und Klee in Cologne and further refined his craft during a stint at Etz in Nürnberg.

After embarking on an inspiring world trip, Kevin joined our team at Frohnatur Weinstube, where he now shares the helm of the kitchen with Jonas.

His creativity shines through in every dish, and his open, friendly, and joyful character makes him a beloved member of our team. We’re grateful to have him on board, bringing vibrant flavors and a positive spirit to our dining experience!

JONAS

Jonas, who incidentally is the only native of Cologne in the team, has been cooking for over 7 years now.

He trained at the Michelin-starred restaurant "La Societé" in Cologne and then spent some time behind the stoves at "Tantris" in Munich.

Today he inspires us with his incredible skillset and his pasta is already legendary!

Pauline is the co-owner of Frohnatur and not only business partner to Johannes, they are also a couple in real-life.


Most of the time you will see Pauline hosting you in our Weinstube. If not, she is probably working on everything design and social media related all around Frohnatur.

JOHANNES

It all started with Johannes. During the pandemic, he went on short-time work in his marketing job at 'ForestGum'. He used this time to support his best friend and winemaker Martin Wörner in his vineyards in Flonheim.

He kept bringing new wines back to Cologne and demand grew. His car became fuller every trip and he recognized the lack of german natural wines in Cologne.

This soon led to the online store and a small store in Cologne. The portfolio grew steadily and Johannes and Pauline decided to quit their jobs to work full-time on 'Frohnatur'. Today, he continues to develop new projects and works behind the BAR BAR BAR, or as your host in the Weinstube.
